DAMAGES AGAINST THE UNION COMPANY.
Received August 24, 8.30 a.m. BRISBANE, August 24. Mr Whitt. an engineer, has been awarded £1,250 damages in his action against the Union Company for injuries caused by spars supporting an awning falling on him while travelling on the Manuka from Brisbane to Canada.
