Nominations for all events will dose at the Secretary's Office, Marton, on Fhiday, 13tli August, at 7.30 psm. Weights for the First Day's Events will be declared on or before Wednesday, 18th August, 1909, and for the Second Day's Events at the Office of the Club at 8 p.m. on the evening of the First Day. 1 Acceptances for the First Day's Events will close with the Secretary at the office of the ; Club, Marton, on Tuesday, 24th August, 1909, at 7.30 p.m., and for the Second Day's Events at the same place at 9 o'clock on the evening of he First Day. RULES. All races to be run under the New Zealand. Rules of Racing. The winner of any race after declaration of weight;, to carry a penalty of 7lb; of two or more races, 101b.
