Messrs Abraham and Williamß, Limited, report on Mr William Cherry's clearing sale of cows and heifers held at Featherston yesterday :—We have to report having held a most successful sale. The attendance was ,'arge and bidding at auction animated. We quote:—Cows in milk, £4, £4 1 0sto£6: September calvers, £6 12s 6d, £1 to £l lss; October calvers, £1 7s 6d to £7 12s 6d; springing heifers, £3 10s, £4 10s. £5 12s 6d to £5 17s 6d; empty heifers £2 lis, £2 15s to £3 10s. Aged mares, £9; 2yr colts, £6; yearling colts, £7. Implements, sundries, etc., at current market rates.
