/ iREMEDIES FOR LOW PRICES. Received August 19. 8.35 «.m. LONDON, August 18. Sir Joseph Ward received in conference the i'New Zealand meat importers, and discussed the question < of the low prices. The New Zealand Premier promised to meet shippers in the Dominion, with a vidw to securing co-cperation in regulating shipments, and would / >arecoiiimend the Government to spend some thousands in advertising New Zealand meat. The Government would, however, have nothing to do with opening shops in competition with retail traders here, nor would he agree to the branding of meat.
