|By Telegraph- Press_Association.. NAPIER, August_lß^ The Rugby representative football matchTplayed this afternoon between Taranaki and Hawke's Bay, resulted in a win for Taranaki by 14 points to 8. The weather was fine, and bracing, and The ground was in good order. About 4,000 spectators were present. In the spell Cameron kicked a goal from a mark for Taranaki and Crowley scored a try for themi which was unconverted. In the second spell Pine and Cameron got juries for the visitors, and Pine's try was converted. Hawke's Bay's score came toward the finish of the game. McEwan scored a try, which was converted, end Lewis obtained an uncovered try. It was a good game all through. SYIjNEY UNIVERSITY TEAM. By Telflgrapn—Press Association. The final match fcr the Wairarapa Rugby Union's Senior Championship will take place on Saturday next, vhen Red Stars will meet Greytown on the Masterton Showgrounds. The Championship depends largely on the result. If Grey town defeat Red Star they will win the Championship. Should Red Star, however, defeat Greytown and and Carterton defeat Lower Valley, Carterton will win the Championship. If Lower Valley defeat Carterton, and Red Star beat Greytown, Red Star and Greytown will play off. Should Car terton ard Lower Valley play a drawn game, and Red Star defeat Greytown, Red Star, Greytown and Carterton will play off. If Red Star i and Greytown draw, and Carterton defeats Lower Valley, Carterton and Greytown will meet to decide the Championship.
