CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor). Sir, —One cannot suppress a shudder when reading a report sent in to the local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to the effect that some rabbiters had skinned a number of rabbits alive, and then let them go to see how far they would run with their skins off. In the event of the Society securing enough evidence to prosecute the miscreants, I shall gladly forward one guinea to help and defray the costs of same, and I feel confident that there are many others who would help in the same manner. Thanking you in anticipation. I am, etc., CHAS. CROSS. Alfredton, August 14th.
