ADVERTISING NEW ZEALAND.
New Zealand has not unlimitej room for men without captial, but she could do a great deal more than she does now to attract men who have capital, says the "Lyttelton Times." Moreover, this Dominion has made no real effort to develop connections with foreign countries.. The farmers are complaining, with reason, that the markets of the European continent are closed against them. Probably all the German and French prejudices conld be swept aside by the judicioßS expenditure of a few thousand pounds in making known our resources and our method? of industry. Western Australia is just now inviting journalists *o inspect her lands, ana to learn for themselves what the State is like, and is undertaking even *o pay the j travelling expenses of the visitors ;We should be g lad to see New Zealand making an effort in the same direction, inviting one or two repreaentatve French, German, and perhaps Italian and Spanish journalists to be her guests.
