LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N. f August 17. Though it is now fine, very heavy intermittent rains fell throughout yesterday and to-day, and lad to the consideration of the postponement of the ladies' Golf Championships. It was finally decided to leave the matter to be decided at six o'colck to-morrow morning*.
