SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
COMMISSION OP ENQURY. Recieved August 16, 8.40 a.m. CAPETOW, August 15. The Cape Government is appointing a commission to enquire into the arrangements dealing with shipping casualties on the coast, with a view to proviling reasonable facilities for saving life ani property. The Admiralty is being approached with the object of securing the' services of an experienced naval officer to assist the commissioner.
