Nominations for all events will close at the Secretary's Office, Marton, on' Ekiday, 13th August, at 7.30 p.m. Weights for the First Day's-Events will be declared on or before Wednesday, 18th: August, 1909, and for the Second; Day's Events at the Office of the Club at 8 p.m. on the evening of the First Day. Acceptances for the First Day's Events will close with the Secretary at the office of the Club,' Marton, on Tuesday, 24th, August, 1909, at 7.30 p.m., and for the Second. Day's Events at the same place at 9 o'clock on the evening of he First Day. RULES. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71b; of two or more races, 101b.
