HEAT WAVE.
EIGHT DEATHS IN ENGLAND. FATAL EXPLOSION. Received August 13, 10 45 p.m. LONDON, August 31. A heat wave its being experienced in England, and has caused eight deaths. The heat also caused art explosion at the Chilworth Gunpowder Com - panies Works, near Buxton, one person being killed. JJ % The thermometer registered 85 degrees in the shade in London. J,The wheat crops have greatly benefited as a result of the warm weather.
