♦ 3y Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 13. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast:—Anticclonic pressure is now giving way to a westerly area of low pressure advancing upxi the South Island. Steady rain is coming on, and a drizzle is probable in most parts south of New Plymouth and Napier, and changeable conditions further north, especially on the West Coatt; freshening nonherlies probable everywhere, and a falling barometer.
