OVER THE SWISS ALPS. Received August 12, 9.1Q a m. GENEVA, August 11. Signor Spelterini's baloon Sirius crossed the Mont Blanc Range from Champunix, and descended near Locarno, at the upper end of Lago Maggiore. The balloon travelled one hundred miles at a height of over 18,000 feet, the temperature being 58 degees below zero, and was a day and a-half in the air.
