SPORTING.
HOCKEY. The two Wairarapa ladies' teams which will compete at the North Island Ladies' Hockey Tournament, at Napier, next weak, will contain altogether about ten Masterton players, and for the purpose of assisting in paying their expenses a subscription last has been opened, and any donations left with Mr B. Ivesun or Mr R. Hatch will be thankfully received and acknowledged. The following will represent Ramblers against Konini ladies' team, at Masterton, at 2 o'clock, on Thursday next:—Forwards, Misses Finnis, Kyle, Barr, Reed, Richards; halfbacks. Misses Kayner, Miller, Johnson; full-backs, Misses Curry, J. Scott and M. collins. Emergencies — Misses BalF-and Briden A meeting of the Ramblers will be held at the residence of the Secretary (Miss F. Miller), Queen street, this evening, at 7 o'clock.
