BANK AMALGAMATION.
Received August 9, 8.25 a.m. LONDON, August \l The shareholders of the London and Westminster and London and County Banks have approved the terms of amalgamation of the two institutions. Under the scheme the subscribed capital of the two will be fourteen millions, and the paid-up capital of thrae and a half millions.
