THE CZAR.
VISIT TO ENGLAND. FAREWELL ADDRESS. LONDON, Au^ust6. The Lord Mayor of London, Sir George Truscott, visited Cowes, and presented the Czar with an address from the City of London, enclosed in a gclden casket. The London and Liverpool Chambers of Commerce also presented addresses. In a farew 11 address, the Czar states that he has been deeply impressed by his visit, by the affectionate welcome accorded to him, by tl:e Royal family, and by the attitude of British statesmen, p:ople, and press, all of which he declares are happy auguries for th= future. HOMEWARD BOUND. LONDON, August 6. The Imperial Russian yacht Standart, with Czar Nicholas on board, has left the Solant. The British warships Inflexible, Indomitable, and Invincible escorted the Imperial yacht on her return. REACTIONARIES DISSATISFIED. ST. PETERSBURG, August 6. The reactionaries in the Russian Duma resent the cordiality shown by Britain in connection with the Czar's visit. Their newspapers fear it will lead to the encouragements of I Liberal ideas.
