IMPORTANT SALES OF STOCK.
During the present month Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., will hold a number of dispersal sales.of first-class dairy nerds, particulars of which are advertised on page 8 of this issue. 0» Saturday, the 21st inst., they will offer for sale at their Taratahi yards on behalf of Mesprs Gray Bros, and Mr Owen Heff£rnan,loo first-class dairy heifers and 50 cows close to calving and in good condition. These cows and heifers have been bred on approved lines, and are from approved strains, and good competition should result under the hammer. The class of dairy stock owned by Mr Adam Armstrong is admittedly good, and dairy farmers will therefore be pleased J», hear that 80 selected three ydfljqsringing heifers (due to calve m September and October) are to be submitted to auction by Messrs Dalgety and Co., at their Taratahi yards on Tuesday, August 31st. These heifers have wintered well, ara in splendid condition, and can be relied upon to yield heavily in butter 'fat. The sale to be held at the Upper Hutfc yardß, on Thursday, August 12th, will embrace 350 cattle, comprising 130 springing and empty heifers, 220 steers, of various ages, and purebred Jersey bulls.
