The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltri,. report on their clearing sale on account of Mr J. Avery, at Konini, on Thursday last, as follows:—Daspite the dirty state of the weather we had a good attendance of dairymen and farmers, and with a good dairy of cows, useful horses, nice quality pigs, and firatclahs household furniture to put before them, we were rewarded with spirited competition throughout, resulting ina complete clearance at very satisfactory prices for the vendor. The entry of 23 cows ranged from £5 53 to £8 5s 6d, making an average of over £6 10s, bull £4, young heifers £2 10s, fow pigs 65s to 70s, porkers 21s to 255, draught colt £l9 10s, hack £5 2s 6d,"spring dray £lB 15s, stack beans £B, harness, tonl3, poultry and household furniture also met with a ready sale at sound prices. •___
