MISSING STEAMERS.
WARATAH'S INSURANCES. Received August 6, 8,25 a.m. LONDON, August 5. The Lund liner Waratah, now a week overdue at Capetown on the Homeward voyage from Australia, is insured at Lloyd's for about three hundred thousand pounds. The rate for reinsurance on the steamer has risen to 50 guineas per cent. FAILURE Or*' A SEARCH. Received August 6, 8.45 a.m. CAPETOWN, August?. A tug which was sent to search for the Waratah has returned to Mussel Bay without discovering any trace of the missing vessel. THE GERMAN YACHr SEESTERN. Received August 6, 10.40 a.m. BRISBANE, August 6. A steamer has returned here after an unavailing search for the German Government yacht Seestem.
