B.v Telegraph—Press Association. CHRIS'ICHURCH, August 5. On the tracks at Riccarton this morning Lady Disdain ran seven furlongs in lmir) 37 l-ssec. Whistlecaft beat Stratagem over nine •furlongs. Korth East sprinted half a mile in 52sec. Longer ea&ily beat All Guns over six furlongs run in lmin 20seA Grenadier galloped seven furlongs in lmin 32Sec. Gwendolina beat Sea.King over eeven furlongs in lmin 29 4-ssec. St. Aidan was beaten off. Ben Jonson beat Scotty and Snip over a mile and a quarter in 2min 18sec. Lion Heart jumped four hurdles in good style. Te Arai and Capitcl galloped twice round together at a strong pace, Nadador and Glenagriff gave a pleasing display in a twice round run over tha big fences. Auratus and Compass jumped six hurdles, the former galloping stronger, bjt 'he fenced erratically. Compass' exhibition of jumping left room for improvement. 1 Stronghold has gone amiss, and will not fulfil his engagements at the coming meeting.
