Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceeding 9 a.m. on Thursday was 6 points. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 5 The 'following is Rev; D. C. Bates' weather forecast:—Westerly wijids strong to gale and changing towards southerly are probable everywhere with squally, cold and showery weather, the barometer will probably rise verywhere after twelve hours.
