Acceptances for the First Day's Events will close with the Secretary at the office of the Club, Marton, on Tuesday, 24th August, 1909, at 7.30 p.m., and for the Second Day's Events at the &ame place at 9 o'clock on the evening of he First Day. RULES. All racps to be ran under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 7lb; of two or more races, 101b. A Hunter is a horse whose owner can ■ produce at ecales a certificate from the Master of any Hun that the horse has been ridden with the hounds during; the past season to the satisfaction of the Master, and has neither won nor is nominated at the date of entry for the race; of £4O or over— Hack and Hunter raees excepted.
