By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 4. • The total subscriptions tr. the Citizens' Unemployed Relief Fund amounts to £1,700, of which about £6OO has been expended. Among the latest subscriptions are £52 from the Government Post Offica employees and £3t fom the Corporation employees. Advices received by the LaDour Department Irom various parts of the North Islani indicate that conditions are gradually improving. Applications for faim labaurers are beins received daily.
