Prim did 7 furlongs in Imin 33sec. Gwendolina beat Sea King over a mile in lmin 45 4-ssec. Federal created a surprise by clearing right away from Grenadier over seven furlongs, cut out in lmin 28 2-ssec. Ben Jonaon, Snip and Scotty were companions in a schooling task over six flights, Ben Johnson apppearing to most advantage. All Guns went half a mile in 50£ sec. Capitol and Te Arai made a capital display once round the big fences. Pacific beat Glengariff over a mile in lmin 54 4-s?ec. Stormont was beaten off by Contender. Lapland performed creditably over seven flights. Irish and Eurus went a mile and a half in ilmin 5 3-ssec. finishing together. Auratus beat Compass comfortahiy over six furlongs in lmin 21nsec. Le Beau did a mile and a-half in 2min 54 4-ssec. Corazoo had Nadador all beaten at the end of, a strong mile and a quarter run in 2min 21|sec. Others did light work.
