SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITION.
GOOD RESULTS OBTAINED. Received August 3, 10.45 a.m. . BRISBANE, August 3. ' News has been received that (he scientific expedition under Professor Fuellebron has returned to Hongkong, after spending nearly a year in the Bismarck Archipelago. The expedition secured large quantities of animal, insect, and other specimens. Many were claimed to be new to scientists.
Considerable trouble was experienced with the hostile natives, but the expedition returned without the loss of a single member.
