Mf Lloy&George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, speaking at Limehouse, said that land was not merely for employment, but for stewardship. Unless Viva landlords discharged the duties 5 attaching to ownership, the time wttuld come to consider the conditions under which land was Continuing, the Chancellor said Ki's resolve in framing the Budget was that no cupboard should be bare, and no lot hard to bear.
