SMART WORK. Received August 2, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, August 2. Viscount Esher, Chairman of the Territorial Forces Association, arranged a scheme whereby the Great Western Railway Company transported 15,000 territorials, 3.400 horses and 300 vehicles, includng 40 guns, from London to Salisbury Plain, between midnight on Saturday, and four o'clock on Sunday afternoon. The South Western Rail way Company similarly carried 12,000 men without flurry or interference with holiday traffic.
