CIGARETTE SMOKING.
REPORT OF MEDICAL MEN. Received August 2, 9.40 a.m. MELBOURNE, August 2. The medical men, who were asked by the Government to report on the question'of cigarette smoking, recommend that ho boy under 15 years of age be allowed to purchase cigarettes. The State Premier, "commenting on the report, said that cigarette smoking was so harmful that that it should be prohibited like opium smoking.
