WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION.
FIVE-ASIDE TOURNAMENT. At Carterton, yesterday, the Senior and Junior Five-Aside Tournaments eventuated, the former in favour of Carterton A and the latter in favour of W.F.C.A. A with Knox A runnersup. The attendance was not larce, aiid the grounds were in splendid order. The results wjre:— SENIOR.
Carterton A, 5 points, 1; W.F.C.A. and Carterton B, 3 points, 2; Knox, 1 point, 3. JUNIOR. The Junior games resulted:— A Division —Knox A, nil, drew with Carterton A, nil; W.F.C.A. B, 1, beat Knox C, nil; Knox A, 2, beat Car l erton D, nil; Carterton A, 2, beat W.F.C.A. B, 1; Carterton D, 2 beat C, nil; Knox A, 1. beat W.F.C.A. B, nil; Carterton A, 3 beat Carterton D, nil; Knox A, 3, beat Knox C, 1; Knox A, 2, beat Carterton A, nil. B Division—W.F.C.A. A, 1, beat Knox B, nil; Carterton C, 1, beat Carterton B, nil; Knox, B, 1, beat CaitertonC, nil; W.F.C.A. A, 2, beat Carterton B, nil; Knox B, 1, beat Carterton B, nil; W.F.C.A. A r 1, beat Carterton B, nil. The playoff between Knox and W.F.C.A. A team was very exciting, but was marred owing to it being played in semi-darkness. The score was one goal to nil in favour of W.F.C.A., T. Byrne shooting from a very difficult angle.
The following is the Wairarapa representative team to play Wellington Wednesday representatives, on Thursday next, at Masterton: —J. Fisher, G. Tunnkliffe, Morgan, N. Boyd, Sievcrs, A. Dixon, W. Fisher, W. Minett, E. Tunniclffe, Reid, A. J. Fisher. Emergencies Backs, Eagle, Smith, Sctimgeour; forwards, King, Pragnell, Reynolds. Th? Ramblers and Kiwi (Dalefield) match was drawn, the score being two goals all. Kia Toa defeated Huia, at Greytown, yesterday, to tke tune of 8 goals to nil.
