SALE OF HAWKE'S BAY CLIP.
I We are informed that at the wool sales held in Napier during February last top prices were realised for Mr John A. Macfarlane's ewe clip from Ben Lomond Station, the figure being 93d per lb for Romney Cross; and at the January sales the Lincoln-merino ewe wool from Mr M'Lean's Glenooe Estate made what wa3 probably the record price for ewe' wcol sold in New Zealand durng last season—i.e., Is per lb. The gentlemen above mentioned attribute the splendid condition of their flips to the absolute immunity from ticks and other parasites enjoyed by their sheep during the previous winter and spring, du-e to their having been dipped in Quibell's Jfowder Dip in the autumn. Every sheep-owner is respectfully invited to test Quibel'/s Powder Dip on level terms against any other brand he fancies, and allow himself to be guided by results.*
