TENUI NOTES.
Frcm Our Own Correspondent. TINUI, July 23. It will he interesting to the farmers in the district to know that there is a movement on foot to give instruction in wool-classing in Tinui. While speaking to Mr H. Morrison to-day, on the subject, he informed me that the instructor to the Masterton Technical School would give twelve lessons on wool-classing, if between twenty and thirty members could be obtained at one pound per member subscription fee. It is to be hoped that the Farmers Union will take the matter in hand. It is quite unnecessary to remark on the beneficial a results that would acrue. Messrs G. R Sykes. secretary to the A. and P. Society, and Mr H. Morrison vice-president were in Tinui to-day enrolling new members for the Association, and their efforts were attended with good results. The friends of Mrs Phillips, wife of the vicar, will regret to hear that she is still seriously ill, in the Masterton Hospital.
