THE FROLICS.
w Concerning the Frolics, a northern contemporary says:—"The company consists of three male and three female voices and pianiste. *They introduce themselves with a concerted item which was as catchy as clever, placing them on good terms with the audience. Mr Courtney Ford was undoubtedly the star of the company, " and his performance throughout is marked by an originality that wins the hearts of his listeners. He possesses a rich bass voice. Mr Edward Headlem possesses a fund of humour, a fine baritone voice and a stock of jokes and patter which he tells very well. Some very dainty items were rendered by Miss Ida Yerex and Alice Vaughan. The concerted items found best favour, and their rendition was an improvement upon anything we have previously heard." The Frolics appear in Masterton to-night.
