It may not be generally known that the greatest candlemaking establishment in the world is in England. It is that of Fhick'x Patent Candwo Company, Ltd., with two other large factories, one at Battersea on the Thames, and the other on the Mersey, new Birkenhead, covering together thirty acres, and giving employment to about 2,200 people.
