WOOL CLASSES, j The first term In connection with the wool classes at the Mastel'ton Technical School will close on Wednesday next. In connection with the work of the classes Mr W. Perry, of Penrose, has very kindly promised to address the members and their friends on Tuesday afternoon next "on sheep from tha points of view of the wool-grower," and Mr Ferry in- | tends bringing in on Tuesday morning five of his well-known sheep, which will he accommodated in pans in the wool-classing rooms at the Technical School. The students present then, between ten and twelve noon,will be asked to individually examine the sheep penr.ed, and after careful' Consideration from the breeders' and wOol'grbwers' standpoints will be required IV place the sheep in order of merit, giving a written judgment in respect of each atiimal. At 2 o'clock Mr PeiTy Will' be in attendance, and will 1 then rriake his address to the members of the class and their friends, illustrating his remarks by reference to the sheep under review. A sub-committee from the members of the clas3, consisting of Messrs Summerell, D. McGregor, Payton, Sykes, Donovan and Cooper, has been set up for the purpose of making the arrangements in detail. The course of work outlined above should prove most interesting and instructive, and is being eugerly looked forward to by the members of the class. Each pupil will nave the privilege ot inviting one guest to attend Mr Perry's lecture in the afternoon.
