SCOTTISH MINERS' STRIKE.

United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright, Received July 23, 10.5 p.m. LONDON, July 23. The Scotch miners and.' coal masters met the Hoard of Trade and discussed matters in dispute. The masters agreed to suspend the notices of dismissal for a week. A small committee consisting of masters and men at the meeting of the Miners' Federation of Britain was appointed to consider the wages question, and report to the conference on Friday. The Scotch miners' ballot was al most unanimously in favour of a general stoppage of work in Britain. The Northumberland miners voted solidly in favour of a strike.
