PERSONAL.
At St. Matthew's Church, Hastings, on Wednesday afternoon last. Miss Evelyn Maurice Mason, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Maurice Mason, of Hastings, was married to Mr Wyvern Henry Williams, third sonofMrT.C. Williams, of Auckland. The service was fully choral, and the impressive ceremony was performed by the Bishop of Waiapu, cousin of the bridegroom. The bride wore a princess robe of soft white liberty satin with broad silver embossed trimming, and wearing a tulle veil and orange blossoms. She carried a sheaf of Japanese Christmas lilies. The attendant bridesmaids were the Misses C. and L. Valery Mason (sisters), Miss Turner (cousin), Miss Bolton and Miss Hassell. The'duties of best man were carried out by Mr Cedric Williams, cousin of the bridegroom. The parents of the bride subsequently held a reception at their residence, "Te Kohu," HasMnes. where the guests were hospitably entertained.
