ALCOHOL CONGRESS.
Received July 20, 10' p.m. LONDON. July 20. The International Alcohol Congress opened at Kensington yesterday. Many foreign delegates were present. Sir John Cockburn, representing the Commonwealth of Australia, said that the children in the Australian State Schools were instructed in scientific temperance. Sir H. Tozpr, Agent-General, for Queensland, said that he hoped the the Congress would deal with the question of supplying liquor to natives.
