POSITION TN WELLINGTON. A SATISFACTORY FEATURE. By Telegraph —Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 20. A satisfactory feature in connection with the unemployment difficulty ia that a number of men have asked for the removal of their names from the Citizens Relief Committee's list, stating that they have now found work at their own trades. One marked effect of the relief work is the rapid falling'off in the number of applicants at the Labour Department's bureau in Wellington. One hundred and seventeen men are employed'at Luahfelling at Waitotara, and are reported to be doing well. Though the Public Works Department has been sending batches of unemployed to railway works at Stratford Gisborne, and the Midland Railway. the total number of its , employees has not increased materially, as many men are leaving as are being put on, which is taken as an indication that the labour market is improving. NAPIER, July 20. There are still a good many men herv who are unable to find work. Very few subscriptions are being i-eceived by the Citizens' Relief Committee, partly because there is a feeling against attracting men here when there is no work to offer them,
