RACING.
At the Wellington Racing Club's meeting at Trentham to-day, the principal attraction will Be the Steeplechase, in which a field pf fourteen will strive for the mastery. in point of numbers, will be the biggest field that has contested the Steeple for many years. Pritchard; Irish 10.3, C. Cochrane; Lingerer, 10.1, P. Flynn; Te Arai, 9.11, J. Deerey; Aorangi, 9.9, H. Futcher: Wanganui. 9.9, 11. Cur; Coy, 9.7, C. O'Neill; Defeat, 9.7, J. Lyford; Otus, 9.7, Gray.
