POLLARD'S JUVENILE OPERA COMPANY.

After a most successful Northern tour Pollard's Juvenile Opera Company will commence a two-nights' season at the Town Hall, Masterton, to-rrorrow evening. Lovers of legitimate comic opera will welcome the production on the opening night of such a delighful work as Planquette's melodious comic opera "Rip Van Winkle." When produced by the Company in Wellington last March it drew crowded houses for ten nights, and the verdict of the playgoers of the Empire City was that it was a great all-round performance. On Thursday Lecoq's world-famed comic opera "Manola," one of the brightest and most melodious of the French school of opera bouffe, will be staged u-> to the usual Pollard I standard. The box plan opened at ! Miss Kive's on Monday morning.
