T)UBLIC NOTICE is hereby given JL that a Poll of Ratepayers will be taken on Friday, the 16th day of July, 1909, on "a proposal of the Masterton Borough Council to borrow the sum of £12,000 for the purpose of the Construction and Improvement of the Roads and in the principal business and residental streets of the Borough, conditionally upon the combined rate of Interest and Sinking Fund not exceeding ,£0 per centum per annum, and for such purpose to make an annually recurring special-rate of *SO pence in the JS upon the whole of the unimproved rateable property of the said Borough as security for the Interest and Sinking 'Fund in connection with the said Loan-, the whole of the Loan is to be repaid on the 31st day of December, 1942.
