FINED FOR STONE-THROWING. FUTURE OFFENDERS TO BE IMPRISONED. Received July 13, 10 p.m. LONDON. July 12. The Suffragettes who took part in tne stone-throwing at the House of Commons on June 29th whereby several windows were broken, were fine 1 or in the alternative sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from a month to six wesks. The Magistrate intimated that in future offenders would be imprisoned, not fined.
