RULES. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 7lb; of two or more races, 101b. A Hunter is a horse whose owner can produce at scales a certificate from the Master of any Hun that the horse lias been ridden with the hounds during the past season to the satisfaction _ of the Master, and has neither won nor is nominated at the date of entry for the race of £4O or over- Hack and Hunter races excepted.
