KAIDS SURRENEEKJHB Received July 12, 8.30 a.m. MOROCCO, July 11. The Kaids near Melilla have surrendered to the Spaniards. A cablegram yesterday morning stated that owing to Moorish asts of aggtession, the Spanish forces at Melilla (one of the Spanish Presidios, on the north coast of Morocco) bombarded the Mozuza tribesmen, who were encamped behind escarpments, inflicting heavy loss. The Spaniards captured a strategic position at Atulayon after a desperate fight, in which several Spaniards were killed and thirty-two wounded.
