PROBABILITY OF A STRIKE.

The Scottish coal owners have posted notices enforcing a reduction of 6d a day from July 26th.

There are indications in the event of a strike of the stoppage of work being confined to Scotland. English and Welsh miners are financially supporting the Scotch miners.
