Lonsdale (Conservative M.P. for Mid Armagh) asked whether the gun mountings and material had been ordered preparatory to laying down four Dreadnoughts on April Ist next. The Right Hon. R, McKw | (First Lord the Admiralty): No. | Mr McKenna, replying farther to Mr Lonsdale, said that the manoeu- J vres W5rC of a confidential nature, and it was undesirable to state the conclusions drawn therefrom as bearing upon the Navy's preparedness for war.
