SOUTH WAIRARAPA POULTRY SHOW.

A RECORD SHOW.

The third annual show of the South Wairarapa Poultry Society was opened yesterday afternoon, in the Agricultural Hall, Carterton, when the exhibits shown were of superior quality, and competition in many classes was kean.

The North Island championship in Buff Orpingtons was won by Mr E. B. Eagle, of Btlvedere, there only being two competitors in the class. Mr H; J. E. Meyrick won the championship in Fekin ducks with a drake. Mr J. uurrie, of Welling* ton, judged the poultry, and Mr S. Johnson, of Pahnerston North, the . j pigeons.
