MATCH AGAINST SCOTLAND,

The match of the Australian cricketers against a Scottish team was continued at Edinburgh to-day, in pleasant weather. The wicket played faster. About four thousand spectators were present. The hoir.e players continued their second innings, and so far have lost six wickets for 190 runs—Tait 52, Dickson 41.

The second inning 3 of the Scottish team closed for 230, making, with 93 in the first innings, an aggregate of 323 runs.
Requiring 203 rung to win, the Australians went va for the second time, and made 147 for seven wickets —M'Alister4l, Noble (not out) 35, Carkeek (not out} 19 The match was drawn.
