He was a staunch supporter of the classic races, and captared the One Thousand Guineas, 2906, with Flair, a filly of his own "breeding; while Flotsam carried his 2ivery into third place in the Derby, 1905, won by Rock Sand. He also bred Parola, who recently won The Oaks for his brother William, who to the title.
