PEEL RIVER SETTLEMENT.
Received June 28, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, June 27. The Peel River directors state that in] view of the economical and politica"l situation in New* South Wales, the sum paid by tbe Government for the company's property cannot advantageously bo employed in the company's business there. The directors therefore propose to return shareholders £2 for £5 of stock held, and a bonus of £1 for every five shares. These returns represent £360,C00.
